Thinking of buying a PowerTune Digital unit? All of our dashboards now support Holley EFI, and if you select Holley EFI at checkout, we will include a wiring harness so you can plug your new PowerTune Digital unit right in to your Holley ECU! And the required communication key will be automatically added to your cart.

Activating your PowerTune Digital Holley Support

Support for Holley ECU's requires a license key which pairs your PowerTune Digital dashboard with your Holley ECU. PowerTune Digital's support team will email you once your order has been placed to verify your ECU information and provide you with the license key.

Here's some tips on getting the required details to activate your Holley & PowerTune Digital connection:

Holley ECU Type

You'll need to tell us which Holley ECU you have. We currently support the Terminator X, Terminator X Max, Sniper TBI / Sniper Gen 1, Dominator, HP, and Sniper Gen 2 ECU's.

ECU Firmware Version

As each ECU Firmware differs, we need to know which version you currently have installed. You can find this information by going on the 3.5" screen that came with your ECU and selecting "Files", then "ECU HW/FW"

ECU Serial Number

To pair your PowerTune Digital dash with your Holley ECU, we need the serial number from your ECU. The easiest way to find this is from the ECU's 3.5" screen by going to "Files" then "ECU HW/FW". Or, if you don't have access to your 3.5" screen, the serial number is printed on a sticker on the bottom of the ECU itself. (Sniper units do not have a sticker - just let us know that you have a Sniper and we can get you set up).

PowerTune Digital Dash Activation Code

Finally, to pair your PowerTune Digital dash with your Holley ECU, we need the activation code displayed on the dash unit on the "Startup" screen once you select "Holley (Standard)" as the "Startup Daemon". If you don't see "Holley (Standard)" on the list of available ECU's, be sure to update your dash to the latest version. Once "Holley (Standard)" is selected, a 9 digital number will be shown that you can provide to our staff to complete the pairing process.

License Key

Once you've provided us with your ECU type, firmware version, ECU serial number, and the activation code provided on your PowerTune Digital unit, we'll send you a license key. Enter the license key into the Startup tab (be sure to select "Holley (Standard)" first), then click "Apply". After the dashboard view comes back, you should be able to see live data from your Holley ECU.

Trouble with activation, or not seeing data from your Holley device? Contact us at info@powertunedigital.com for help. Provide a photo of the "Files" -> "ECU HW/FW" screen from your Holley device, as well as a photo of your PowerTune Digital Startup tab (with "Holley (Standard)" selected for faster service.
