PowerTune Digital is a digital dash display that shows real-time ECU data from any vehicle with a supported aftermarket ECU or that has a supported stock ECU that is canbus compatible. PowerTune can display real-time ECU data such as speed, RPM, temperatures, sensor states and more.
PowerTune Digital dash also doubles as a data logger and includes GoPro integration to overlay ECU data onto GoPro footage. PowerTune gives you the ability to see vehicle performance and statistics in real-time.

Easy to install:PowerTune Digital plugs directly into your ECU port via an interface cable that we provide with your kit (excludes Apexi FC, requires FC Hako/Datalogit cable). Power and ground are connected to any 12V source as the power supply will automatically step down to 5V.

Accuracy:With the data coming directly from the ECU, the risk of old, unreliable gauges showing inaccurate information is reduced. The display does not send any data or instructions into the ECU, so there is no risk of damage or interference.

We have spent several years developing and testing our package and have the custom built hardware to meet the requirements for the job at hand.
We have written protocols to talk to major aftermarket ECUs, powered by a quad-core onboard processor and supplying an adapter interface to plug directly into your ECU, after wiring in your power and ground the unit is plug and play and ready to go.
All you need to do is plug the cable into your ECU and connect your power.

PowerTune Digitals software and hardware environment have been built from the ground up to ensure professional grade performance at an entry level price point. Almost all existing software packages only support the OBD2 protocol and do not support aftermarket ECUs. There may often also be noticeable lag/performance issues using OBD2 due to the slow nature of how data is requested using this protocol, whereas PowerTune Digital dash displays data in real time via CANBUS and is a fixed solution that can easily be mounted in a variety of locations across an assortment of vehicles. We are the middle ground between a cheap tablet solution and a several thousand dollar motorsport dash.
For CAN based aftermarketECUs, we can display almost anything that can be wired into the ECU and also what the ECU is doing in real time (speed/RPM/lambda ect).
Whatever sensors have been wired into your vehicles ECU as well as the main elements the ECU is managing can be displayed.
Examples include speed/rpm/pressure sensors/temperature sensors, Ethanol content %, Lambda...typically anything you have wired to the ECU can be displayed.
For CAN based stockECUs, we can display whatever the manufacturer has wired to the stock ECU.
This typically includes Speed, RPM, Coolant Temp, IAT, Battery Voltage, Oil Temp and then becomes vehicle/ECU specific for data-sources such as oil temp/pressure, steering wheel angle ect.
For Serial ECUs(Apexi, Nissan Consult, OBD2) the sensor outputs vary by both car and ECU combination and depends what the manufacturer has wired to the ECU.
For example, some vehicles running a Power FC will see a boost reading (example Supra), however an R33 Skyline with a MAF sensor will not provide a boost reading to the ECU that can be displayed.
